David Robert B Joseph Beckam, probably the most famous football player ever, is simply a living legend. He was born on 2 nd May, 1975 in Leytonstone, London. He was a regular player of the great game since childhood. His parents were a diehard fans of Manchester United, an English league. He inherited this love and passion for Manchester United and started building high aims. He used to play for the local team Ridgeway Rovers and was also one of the exceptionally talented group of young players who won the FA Youth Cup in May, 1992, in which his goal added the icing on the cake.

David Beckam played for the first time for his country on 1 st September, 1996 in a World Cup Qualifying match against Moldova. He was part of the English National Team in all the games of the 1998 Fifa World Cup. He also appeared in the World Cup Finals in France.
